“When I was eight, two cousins and I were sent to a nearby
town to get groceries for the next fifteen days. In the middle of the prairie,
we had the brilliant idea that we should dismount and play marbles. So we did.
We were so absorbed in our game that we did not see the signs of the time. The
heavy rain and hail hit us so hard that all we could think of doing was to
unsaddle the horses and take cover under the small saddle quilts. Now that I
have a little more experience, I always remind myself: don’t forget to look up.
My experience with my cousins taught me to pay attention to the signs of our
times. We live in stormy, perilous days. If you ever come across anything that
causes you to question your testimony of the gospel, look up. Look to the
Source of all wisdom and truth.” – Elder Adrian Ochoa
