Vintage Stitching

If you ever had music lessons, you probably learned:
1. Practice DOESN’T make perfect. Practice make permanent.
2. Hard work pays off.
3. It’s okay to make mistakes.
4. When you make a mistake, keep trying.
5. Push you past your limits to show how far you can go.
6. Blend and balance can make or break an ensemble.
7. Confidence. Music is not for the faint of heart.
8. Silence is beautiful. Rests are as important as notes.
9. How to understand fractions. A sixteenth is smaller than an eighth.
10. Self-discipline and responsibility. No one will bring your instrument or music if you forget.
11. How to conquer your fears when auditioning, performing or doing anything else.
12. How to work your entire brain.  Music stimulates more parts of the brain than any other function.
13. There’s always room for improvement.
14. And most importantly, how to not just listen to music, but experience it.
