Summer Mystery

I hunted for the name of this block but never found it. It’s a bit like the Summer Winds I posted August 23, 2011, and one called Mystery Block (I didn’t make that up) that I haven’t made yet. So I’m calling it Summer Mystery. We’ve reached the point of the year when it’s too hot to enjoy being outdoors. I’ve given up my long morning walks in favor of laps in the pool and strolls at the mall. I keep finding excuses to dust and vacuum in the cool basement, while the top floors of my house go wanting. I keep remembering the Twilight Zone episode called Midnight Sun. In it a feverish woman dreams the earth has slipped from its orbit and is falling into the sun. In reality, the earth is falling AWAY from the sun, and is freezing over. Hmm. Excuse me while I go grab another ice cream sandwich.
