In general conference last October, President Boyd K. Packer
said, “We live in perilous times; nevertheless, we can find hope and peace for
ourselves and for our families. Those living in sorrow, despairing at the
possibility of children being rescued from where the world has taken them, must
never give up. Be not afraid, only believe. Righteousness is more powerful than
wickedness.” Sunday night I worked with the Witness Music Orchestra to prepare
for a performance of Rob Gardner’s Lamb of God later this month. We met with
the vocal soloists for the first time, and among them was the man who will sing
the part of the Apostle Peter, “Then trust in God through all the days; fear
not, for He doth hold thy hand. Though dark thy way, still sing and praise. Sometime,
sometime we’ll understand.”
