Mosaic Star

More than a few of the blocks I’ve posted here came from www.patchworkparty.com. I learned about Patchwork Party five years ago, but it had already been up and running several years before I came on board. It’s an online quilt shop hop involving a dozen stores from all over the U.S. Each shop has a quilt block kit as well as a finishing kit to use all 12 blocks. The 2010 party used fabric from Marti Michell’s Wild Rose line: pink, yellow, green and black. The 2011 blocks were made with the rich autumn colors of Benartex’ Bittersweet line. In 2012 it was the raspberry, rust, purple and evergreen of RJR's Arabella Rose. Last year they used Quilting Treasures' Rendezvous in antique silver, gold, pink, red and teal. This year’s party - which starts today - features American Bouquet from Marcus Fabric in bright red, yellow and blue. I can hardly wait!
