Red Virginia Reel

Tuesday nights are movie nights at our house. We’ve only seen 25 movies so far this year, but several fell into the “Wish we’d rented on DVD” category: Home, Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2, Paddington, Hotel Transylvania 2, Shaun the Sheep, Fantastic Four and Minions. We should have skipped SpongeBob altogether. Age of Ultron, San Andreas, Jurassic World, Goosebumps, The Martian, Ant-Man and Pixels were the kind of movies we love to see in theaters. Woman in Gold, McFarland USA, Age of Adeline, Mr. Holmes, Tomorrowland and The Intern were all very thought-provoking. I think everyone should go see The Peanuts Movie, and bring at least one child along. The best three movies (so far) this year were: Cinderella, Inside Out and The Good Dinosaur. We may try to catch In the Heart of the Sea or Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip. Tonight we'll see Christmas Eve (the movie). And of course we’ve already got our tickets to see Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
