Morning Star

It’s been a dry year for movies. Generally by this time of year we’ve seen at least thirty or forty films in the theater. But today when I sit and take stock, I can only think of fifteen. We did see Avengers twice. So let’s make it sixteen:
Big Miracle
The Pirates! Band of Misfits
Frankenweenie
The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel
This Means War
Mirror, Mirror
John Carter
Journey 2: the Mysterious Island
Wreck It Ralph
Ice Age: Continental Drift (I slept through a good deal of this one.)
MIB 3
Dr. Seuss’ the Lorax
Madagascar 3 Europe’s Most Wanted
Brave
Marvel’s the Avengers
Beauty and the Beast, Titanic and Finding Nemo were all rereleased in 3D this year, and I didn’t see any of them. I’m not really sure why. I do have big hopes for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, and I’ve heard good things about Lincoln.
