Peaceful Evening

On April Fools’ Day (and once or twice since then) I mentioned I’ve accepted the 365 Quilt Block Challenge this year. I’ve made every one of the 225 blocks we’ve been given so far, with only 114 left to go. I haven’t followed every single pattern exactly as they’re written for a wide variety of reasons. Today’s block for example (it’s actually from August 1), was meant to be 3” finished. In my book, that’s just too tiny for a block made of three dozen little pieces. I’m not making them all in the same color way, because they won’t all be going in the same quilt. I’m also not showing you all 365 blocks, partly because I only post 312 photos a year, partly because I have other projects I want to share, and partly because some of these blocks are just plain ugly.
