Nine Five-Pointed Stars

The Wasatch Quilt Shop Hop was last week. This year the theme was favorite board games. My Girlfriend’s Quilt Shop in Logan decorated the whole store – inside and out – as Candy Land. The employees at Quilts Etc. in Sandy dressed up as Where’s Waldo. I won some fabric at Quilter’s Haven in Bountiful when the Mystery Date behind my door turned out to be a dream instead of a dud. Mormon Handicraft chose my favorite game, Scrabble. They created a wall hanging that looks like a Scrabble board full of quilter’s terms. It was nice to be able to complete the whole circuit without having to drive way out to Tooele. But I do miss seeing the creative things the employees at Sew Sweet used to come up with. I also missed the Red Rooster in Providence, Whimsy Cottage in Cottonwood, Gardiner’s in Ogden and Threads of Time in Centerville.
