Depression Block

I read because in reading I sometimes find treasures I can keep. Here are just a few:
“At any rate, that is happiness; to be dissolved into something complete and great.” – Willa Cather, My Antonia
“I can't go back to yesterday because I was a different person then.” – Lewis Carroll, Alice in Wonderland
“What are men to rocks and mountains?” – Jane Austen, Pride and Prejudice
“Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same.” – Emily Bronte, Wuthering Heights
“The sun himself is weak when he first rises, and gathers strength and courage as the day gets on.” – Charles Dickens, The Old Curiosity Shop
“I would always rather be happy than dignified.” – Charlotte Bronte, Jane Eyre
“It does not do well to live on dreams and forget to live.” – J. K. Rowling, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone
