Sawtooth Star

I saw a comic the other day with this caption, “I know I’m getting what I want for Christmas because I already bought it for myself.” If only it were that simple. A week ago my daughter only wanted a big bottle of Ooey Gooey Cookie bubble bath. She wrote it down so I wouldn't get the wrong flavor.  I spent days searching local stores and ended up ordering it online for $36. The next day she visited Santa and asked for a $3 My Little Pony coloring book. I’ve reached the point where the things I want for Christmas aren’t things. I want a mild winter; I don’t mind snow but I dread the bitter cold. I want someone nice to buy the house behind ours and move in. I want the little children in my family - and little children everywhere - to be healthy, strong and safe. I want my loved ones to have a happy and prosperous new year. Where can I shop for that?
