Poinsettia Star

I’ve been thinking lately about three quotes that seem to be saying the same thing, but aren’t quite. The first is attributed to Cecil Baldwin, but I’ve seen it quoted in several places without a reference: “Remember, you are beautiful only when you do beautiful things. Full lips aren’t as beautiful as a full laugh. Skinny hips aren’t as attractive as a quick wit. Think about treating others right, and those others will flock to you in screaming droves.” The second, from Janelle Monae, takes it a step beyond that: “You are only as beautiful as the many beautiful things you do for others without expectation.”  But the third quote is my favorite: ‘The most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched; they must be felt with the heart.” – Helen Keller
