Fan Block

Today let’s tackle the microwave. Put a cup of water in a microwave-safe bowl. Add a tablespoon of white vinegar. Put the bowl in the microwave and heat for about three minutes; enough to steam up the inside. Leave the bowl inside the microwave with the door closed about fifteen minutes. This should loosen any dried gunk so it can be wiped off with a clean cloth or paper towel. If your microwave has a glass tray or turntable, you can wash this like a dish by hand or in your dishwasher. Wipe down the exterior surfaces of the microwave. If it sits on a counter, be sure to clean beneath and behind the unit. From now on, promise yourself to loosely cover everything you heat in the microwave. After all, it’s a lot easier to keep something clean than it is to clean it once it’s dirty.
