Virginia Reel

The New York Post claims wealthy moms pay roughly $130 an hour for disabled people to pretend they’re part of their family so everyone can bypass the long lines at Walt Disney World. I understand they’re only looking for people with motorized scooters. Duh. It’s totally exhausting to push a wheelchair all around a theme park. I’ll bet they only want disabled people who can manage the toilet independently, too. Either way, they’d better be prepared to wait when nature calls. Chances are all the handicapped stalls in the park are occupied by healthy moms dressing their little girls up as princesses. Ask me how I know. Renting invalids is a clever idea, but I’m afraid it’s a waste of money. Most new rides allow the disabled to queue alongside everyone else. And many of the rest can accommodate only one handicapped guest at a time. So you could end up paying over $1000 a day and still wait longer than the regular line.
