When I was a young girl my family lived in California. I remember being happy there. I liked school, I had lots of friends, and there were many places to explore. There’s still a lot of California I want to investigate. Here’s a snip of my Golden State bucket list:
1. I’ve never been to San Francisco. I’d love to see the Golden
Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, and Fisherman’s Wharf. Maybe even ride a trolley car.
2. I have been to the San Diego Zoo, but that was many years
ago. I’m pretty sure it’s time for another trip. I want to see the Mormon
Battalion Historic Site, and to find out if the San Diego LDS temple is as
pretty from within as it is from without.
3. I’d like to drive through the wine country in northern
California, and visit the Petrified Forest, Yosemite and Redwood National Park.
4. I want to see the aquarium in Monterrey again, and visit the Steinbeck museum.
5. through 10. I don’t think I’ll ever tire of Disneyland. Ever.
